Hey, Hey Family & Friends:
I'm finally working on updating our website! Tune back in for more updates soon
as I'm now enjoying high speed (not dial-up) internet access. Although, I'm limited to late night hours, after our three beautiful
babes are fast asleep.
Here's a quick update... After more than six years here in Colorado Springs, we've moved
to a new home to accomodate our larger family. We gained 900 more square feet , three more bedrooms and one more bath,
and we're loving it. It's also very close to a great mountain preserve, perfect for regular family hikes and adventures. We're
renting our old home until the market gets better for sellers.
Torie is still teaching spin classes at the YMCA, although off the bike and on crutches
right now. She tore her calf muscle playing volleyball at the end of June. Until then she was feeling like a super momma
running her first 10K earlier that month to celebrate her 39th birthday. Torie's also teaching some group strength classes
at the Y, is serving on leadership as the activities coordinator for her MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group and has
a membership of more than 100 moms in the Moms Walking Club she started more than 4 1/2 years ago.
Nathan is now enjoying work in copier sales at Gobin's, Inc. www.gobins.com. With his spare time, he's still enjoying his new sport of golf, although with his new job he's not getting as much
time for it as he'd like. He's also working out and playing basketball at the Y. He also keeps busy with projects around
the house and after all of the wonderful work he put in at the old house, picket fences, sprinklered lawns and such, he now
gets the pleasure of starting all over again!
Delanie is almost 7 and is going into 2nd grade this year at a local Christian
school. Last year, she took up ballet and running for her school's Cross Country and Track team. She is just beautiful
inside and out, a super big sister and mommy's helper, very funny and smart too!
Levi turns 5 in January and is just silly, adorable and a big bundle
of energy! He' loves palling around with his big sis and just loves his little brother Daniel. Soooooooo much that I call
him "Smother Brother." Lovingly of course.
Daniel is now 1 year old and he is a guy on the go. He keeps mommy on her toes. He loves
the stairs, getting into all of the cupboards and climbing on all of our furnature. He loves to laugh, clap and play chase.
He's usually the chaser. He's wonderful.
